Comparison of Inquiry-Based Communication Protocols with Different Transmission Contents

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We proposed an error-tolerant method of inquiry-based communication protocols that reduces the number of transmission bits at a narrow band communication channel in band asymmetric communication channels because the two existing methods have no redundancy and no error tolerance. We compared the fundamental performance under the ideal environment in terms of the reduction effect of the number of transmission bits at a narrowband communication channel, the transmission time, and the number of transmission bits at a broadband communication channel. Moreover, we revealed the characteristics of the proposed method, and we limited the effective parameters.
