In our research of a microwave snow melting system, it is expected that electromagnetic wave is fed and transmitted in a circuit-shaped waveguide. Especially, our research group proposes that a composite right-/left-handed (CRLH) waveguide is applied to a microwave snow melting system, and a zeroth order resonance phenomenon realized by a CRLH waveguide is useful for the snow melting system. In this paper, affects of an arc-shaped part of a circuit-shaped waveguide on characteristics of a CRLH waveguide, left-handed characteristics, are discussed by using results of an electromagnetic wave simulator. |
