The aquaculture industry as a whole faces problems such as increased costs due to overfeeding and adverse effects on water quality in fishing grounds. Our goal is to implement smart aquaculture, which can be managed and operated fully automatically without human involvement, and we focused on the optimization of feeding as an issue. We propose a method to determine the activity level of the fish population using SVM by capturing the behavior of the fish population using a camera in the water of the fish tank and quantifying the amount of fish activity using Optical Flow. The effectiveness of this system will be demonstrated through actual observations in a fish tank and evaluation of video data obtained from demonstration experiments. |
