Isogeny-based cryptography has been attracting attention as one of the candidates for post-quantum computer cryptography.
Isogenies between varieties of the higher genus are studied as in the case of elliptic curves.
This study aims to improve the efficiency of explicit formulas to compute isogenies.
In particular, we analyzed the cost to find an isomorphism between curves in isogeny-based cryptography.
We focused on the computation of isomorphisms in the explicit formula for $(3,3)$-isogeny between Abelian surfaces, which accounts for most of the computational cost.
We considered an explicit procedure for finding the isomorphisms between hyperelliptic curves, which can be more efficient than the conventional Gröbner basis method. |
