| (in English) | Telepresence robots have been used for communication between speakers who have a good relationship with each other, such as in an office space. Now, the robots also try to be used for communication between speakers who have never met each other before, such as when serving or greeting customers in a commercial space. However, in such cases, it is difficult for local speakers in the commercial space to accept what the remote speaker says via the robots because these speakers have a little relationship. As a result, they cannot continue to do communication. This paper also reports the case study that investigates the possibility of improving the acceptability by controlling the screen display of a telepresence robot and the method of approaching a local speaker. | |
