(in English) Polar codes have attracted attention as error-correcting codes. However, Polar codes have a problem because the performance of conventional decoding methods reduces when the code length is short. To solve this problem PAC codes, which combine convolutional and Polar codes, have been proposed to solve this problem. In this paper, we compare the method using PAC codes with Fano decoding and the proposed method using PAC codes with CRC and SCF-Fano decoding. We show that the performance can be improved when the code length is 265.
