| (in English) | In this study, we developed a programming exercise system that presents the coding status of students to the teachers with the aim of improving lessons. This system provides a Web-based programming environment for students. The system accumulates as operation logs the exercise numbers that students work on, and the operations and results of program editing, building, execution, and testing. In addition, for teachers, the progress of each student, the source code creation process, and the occurrence of errors are also presented. This system consists of functions for students, functions for instructors and teaching assistants in charge of lessons, and functions for course chiefs. The target language is currently only C language. This system was used for fifteen weeks in two subjects with about 230 students. The number of logs varies from day to day, thousands to over 100,000 logs were collected and accumulated per day. We evaluated the usefulness and usability of this research by questionnaire to users. We confirmed that the function of "understanding the student's coding status", which is the purpose of this research, is sufficiently functioning. Regarding usability, we confirmed that many problems remain, especially in the creation and management of exercises. | |
