500 MHz band rectennas with the folded dipole antenna and the small loop antenna

(in English) In this report, the prototyped rectennas for energy harvesting systems using radio waves of the digital terrestrial broadcasting band (521MHz-557MHz) in Tokyo. The rectennas employ using a folded dipole antenna and a small loop antenna. And sizes, electrical characteristics and field performances are investigated. The rectenna with the folded dipole antenna achieves wider frequency range and higher efficiency. Thus, its performance in Tokyo area is superior compared with the rectenna with the small loop antenna.
