| (in English) | Currently, there is no objective way to measure how popular a company is among students in the job hunting process. This is because students apply directly to companies or through third-party recruiters, and the rankings of popular companies provided by recruiters cannot be objectively verified. In previous studies, NFT-based academic credentials have been proposed, and these are mainly a mechanism to manage academic credentials anonymously on a blockchain. However, although the data on the blockchain can be viewed globally, entry information is not recorded, making it impossible to obtain statistics on the status of applications. In this study, we constructed a replicable NFT of academic credentials that can be used to estimate the popularity of a company, as long as the NFT is in the possession of the company, in accordance with the NFT framework. By converting the academic credentials that students submit when applying for jobs into NFTs and sending them to companies, it is possible to objectively calculate the application status, which has not been publicly available until now. By implementing a prototype of the proposed system on the Ethereum test network using ERC721, a standard for NFT, we demonstrate that the system can determine the popularity of a company. | |
