This paper demonstrates 920MHz band rectenna with the gated anode diode (GAD) configured with the carbon nanotube thin film transistor (CNT-TFT) that has the advantage of low-cost fabrication and planner integration. For applying the CNT-TFT to 920 MHz band rectenna, the gated anode diode (GAD) is employed. Due to large frequency dispersion of the CNT-TFT, it is characterized with DC and RF characteristics. The rectenna is consisting of the double voltage rectifier with the CNT-TFT GADs and the dual loop antenna with high radiation gain. The fabricated 920 MHz band rectenna with the size of 46 mm x 92 mm achieves an output voltage of 0.41 V with received power of 0 dBm by the reference antenna. This measurement condition is the same as the received power from transmitter of EIRP of 3W with distance of 1.48 m. |
