Measurement of dynamic surface tension by oscillation analysis of liquid droplet on substrate

(in English) We introduce an improvement to our experimental method to measure the oscillation behavior of the droplet on solid substrate. The oscillation was applied by the mechanical motion of the substrate, instead of the electric tweezer system used in our previous study. The improvement allows to measure the mechanical properties of the droplet ejected from a nozzle in the future. In addition, we employed an optical knife-edge method to detect the droplet deformation with high time resolution. We could measure the time dependence of the surface tension of the water droplet in ethanol vapor.
