In mobile communication systems such as 5G, ultra-high-speed data transmission is expected anywhere within a cell. In a cellular system that repeatedly reuses the same frequency, communication quality deteriorates especially near cell boundaries due to adjacent cell interference. The authors proposed a virtualized cell MU-MIMO canceller, in which adjacent base stations work together to suppress adjacent cell interference and showed that communication quality can be greatly improved. In the previous study, we proposed and evaluated a scheme that applies eigenmode transmission after block diagonalization. When the receiving side determines transmission/reception weights for eigenmode transmission, it is necessary to feed back the transmission weights to the transmission side. But giving feedback is hard work. In this study, we proposed and evaluated eigenmode transmission in which TDD weights are superimposed on the transmitting and receiving sides without TDD feedback. |
