| 抄録 | （和） | The current study examined a difference between the processing of selectional restriction violation and that of subcategorization information violation. We measured even-related potentials during silent reading of Japanese sentences. Our results showed N400 and P600 for both types of anomalous sentences, with no reliable difference between the two conditions. In addition, we observed a negative component around a latency of 200ms only in the subcategorization violation condition, suggesting a qualitative difference in the processing of these two sentence types. Our results pointed out both similarity and difference in cognitive processes involved in the comprehension of the two sentence types. |
