We propose a new personal authentication system using ear pinna transfer functions.
This proposed method is constructed by combining a classification model built from numerical analysis data and a transformation model
that converts measurement data into the domain of numerical analysis data for utilizing the model. With this approach,
we address the challenge of accurately capturing individual differences in ear pinna transfer functions due to the characteristics of measurement devices
and measurement environments in practical measurements, which can lead to a decrease in authentication accuracy.
As a result, by using the proposed method, HTER improved by 8.0 % and AUC increased by 0.15 compared to conventional methods. |
