水素は直流遮断に非常に効果的であることはよく知られているが、交流遮断ではどのように作用するかは不明である。
本論文では、空気中および水素ガス中で電磁接触器を開路する際のアーク放電を調べた。電源電圧はAC 100V -50Hz、閉接点電流は10Aとした。実験は抵抗負荷(力率1.0)および誘導負荷(力率0.9、0.8、0.6)で行った。雰囲気ガスは空気と水素の2種類で、1気圧および3気圧とした。アーク持続時間、アーク放電時のアークエネルギー、接触抵抗を測定した。実験結果から、雰囲気ガスおよび負荷条件の違いによる各種特性への影響を調べた。
その結果、誘導負荷ではインダクタンスの大きさによるアーク持続時間の変化がないことが確認された。しかし、水素中ではアーク持続時間は空気中よりも短く、インダクタンスの大きさに影響されました。したがって、同じインダクタンスでのアーク持続時間は H2 < 空気でした。さらに、水素中のアーク放電の電圧上昇率は空気中よりも大きいことがわかりました。 |
