Study on Cross Meander line Antenna with Ground Plane for Specified Low power Radios at 315 MHz

(in English) A small-sized antenna whose electrical performance was isolated from the influence in the environment was investigated for specified low-power radios at 315 MHz bands. Because antennas were usually placed on the neighborhood of metal surfaces such as housings and ground-planes, the performance of the cross meander-line antenna which consisted of radiation elements being set on the surface 5 mm away from the ground-plane was calculated to realize a low-profile antenna. Main emphasis was placed on feed point and meander-line pattern on the opposite surface. And the performance of the antenna installed in a metallic-door was also evaluated for keyless-entry systems.
