Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We experimentally evaluated the influence of type of video contents and display resolution on physiological and psychological measurements during contents viewing at 4K and 2K on a 65-inch 4K TV. Four types of video content were used: two types with scenic content and two types of close-up of food and material content. The results showed that the scores for “presence,” “impact,” “realism,” “clarity” and “precision” when viewing 4K scenic content were significantly higher than those for 2K content. Moreover, there was significant difference observed between NIRS, representing nervous system activity, during viewing test for 4K content and that for 2K content, although there was various effects according to the kind of contents.
