The 5G system using millimeter waves is considered to apply to high traffic areas with dense pedestrians. In cases of Non Line of Sight (NLoS) scenarios such as street corners, the high path losses cause seriously dropping received signal strengths. However, the presences of human bodies at street corners may create scattered waves and improve the signal strengths. In this paper, we measure and evaluate the characteristics of scattered waves by a human body at a typical L-shape corner by using a channel sounder for 67 GHz band.
