[Invited Talk] Illustration of Energy Flows in IPT Systems with Multiple Transmitters and/or Multiple Receivers

(in English) Poynting vector analysis visualizes the directional energy flux in electromagnetic fields. This tool has been used in previous works to reveal how the energy flux distributes in typical inductive power transfer (IPT) system with one transmitter and one receiver. In this work, we employ this analysis technique to illustrate the energy flows in more complicated IPT systems, which consist of multiple transmitters and/or multiple receivers. Three simple topologies: 1-to-2, 2-to-1 and 2-to-2 will be investigated.
