Advanced direct synthesis approach for high selective in-line topology diplexers with maximum adjacent frequency variant couplings

(in English) Abstract?This paper presents an advanced direct matrix synthesis for in-line diplexers with maximum adjacent frequency variant couplings constructed by general Chebyshev channel filters. By considering the annihilation of frequency variant couplings (FVC) during whole diplexer admittance matrix transformation for the first time, this paper provides a deterministic mechanism that can generate FVCs between every cascaded resonators. In consequence, a high selective diplexer which can implement maximum number (NRX-1+ NTX-1) of transmission zeros and the transmission zeros can be controlled by NRX+ NTX order inline diplexers. The coupling matrix of the diplexer is transformed from the wheel topology to the inline topology as a whole matrix. The matrix transformation process is detailed to obtain two adjacent FVCs inside of a 4th-order inline network. Two examples of diplexer are synthesized to show the validation of the method presented in this paper.
