Mood Improvement by Multiple Personality Assistant Agent in Speech Recognition Failure

(in English) This paper proposes a method to create a mood in a human agent speech interaction and investigates the created mood by an assistant agent with multiple personality. The proposed method uses a home electronics control agent with four personalities in a single body. The agent shows four different personalities by changing illumination colors and vocal sounds on the shared real body. The main personality interacts with the user, one of the other personalities comments on the interaction between the user and the main personality, and others agree with the commenting personality. The proposed method can improve the mood of the speech interaction when users feel uncomfortable mood in their failure of speech recognition.
