Reflection and Radiation Characteristics of Vertical Strip Transmission Line Primary Radiator Using FR-4 Substrate at 60GHz

(in English) A vertical strip transmission line primary radiator using the Glass Fiber PTFE substrate was proposed for use in a slit array planar antenna, and the usefulness was confirmed at 60 GHz. In this paper, the Glass Fiber PTFE substrate was replaced by the FR-4 substrate from the viewpoint of cost reduction. And also we confirmed the investigated vertical strip transmission lime radiator would be suitable for applications to the primary radiator for use in the millimeter-wave planar antennas from the calculated and measured results.
