Scattering Performance of Reflectarrays Covered by Band-Pass Frequency Selective Surfaces

(in English) In this study, we propose a reflectarray covered by a band-pass frequency selective surface (FSS). The FSS is transparent for electromagnetic wave at operating frequency of the reflectarray whereas it is opaque for the electromagnetic wave outside the operating frequency. As a result, the proposed reflectarray directs its mainbeam to a specific direction at the operating frequency whereas its mainbeam direction is specular direction outside the operating frequency. Therefore, the proposed reflectarray contributes to keep electromagnetic compatibility outside the operating frequency. The proposed reflectarray is designed and its scattering performance is demonstrated.
