This paper presents the indoor positioning system by using microcontroller unit (MCU) at the frequency of 2.4-2.5 GHz. The proposed system consists of reference and sensor nodes, which the sensor node can be movable and estimate the position by itself. The MCU ESP 8266 modules are employed in those nodes. The prototype system is fabricated and investigated in two cases. There are three and four reference nodes. From the measured results, it can be estimated the position in indoor environment efficiently. The percentage of error is 35%.
