This paper investigated the suppression of high-order mode transmission on CBCPW line by using via-holes. It was confirmed by simulation that the optimal via-hole position is at the antinode of the wave, resulting in the via-to-via pitch of half wavelength at the frequency of the high-order mode suppression.
