For about 20 years since around 1950, language acquisition instruction was given to congenital deafblind children at the Yamanashi Prefectural School for Visually Impaired. Long-time records and teaching materials of the instruction are reserved. Tens of thousands practical records are probably the only valuable data in the world. These materials ware recorded on poor quality paper and deterioration is significant, so we are conducting conservation activities by digitization. In these materials, the progress of learning is recorded regarding concept acquisition, symbol acquisition training, speech utterance training, acquisition of language concept, grammar concept acquisition and math ability acquisition. In this report, we will introduce the circumstances and results. |
