Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A microwave snow melting device using a leaky wave by a slot waveguide has been reported. On the other hand, in snowy areas such as Hokkaido, heaters are generally buried under the roads to prevent roads from freezing. Therefore, this paper proposes to achieve the hybrid method that converts the microwave for road heating into energy using wireless power transmission technology and moves the electric car. In this paper, an EV miniature model was used. First, a microwave rectenna array for wireless power transmission was designed and analyzed to determine wireless power transmission efficiency. As a result, we have shown through experiments that EV models can run on roads incorporating microwave snow melting devices by connecting rectennas in series to increase power.
