Left-Handed Slotted Waveguide Analysis Using FDTD method

(in English) In this study, electromagnetic field analysis of a left-handed waveguide using the FDTD method was performed to investigate the transient response of a left-handed waveguide. From the radiation pattern, it was confirmed that the radiation was oriented to the left and to the right as the frequency changed. It also showed the change of S11 characteristic, one of the features of the left-hand system, with respect to the length of the stub. From the above, we were able to analyze the characteristics of the left-handed waveguide by using the FDTD method. Therefore, we clarified the electromagnetic field distribution when the left-hand system has the characteristics of a left-hand system.
