A leaky wave antenna configured by CRLH transmission lines has been proposed. There is a problem that the direction of the main beam changes due to the change in frequency. In this study, the unit cell of the leaky wave antenna is represented by a lossless symmetric T-type equivalent circuit, and circuit parameters to suppress beam squint due to frequency change are examined by random search method. As a result, it was found that reducing the values of the right-handed circuit parameters and increasing the values of the left-handed circuit parameters were effective to suppress the phase variation. It was also found that there was a limit for the minimum transfer phase difference over a frequency bandwidth when considering real transmission lines.
