In lectures with writing on the blackboard, the timing of the behaviors (noting and listening) by students plays important roles on the evaluation of the understanding and the interest for given contents. In this report, we discuss relationships between understandings defined by the score of tests and noting behaviors by students for video lectures. Concretely, we propose methods for the detection of noting behaviors by students from movies recorded by cameras. Furthermore, we discuss the relationship between understandings and noting behaviors by students. |
