Binary neural network (BNN) can approximate a desired Boolean function by a simple learning algorithm.This paper presents a flexible learning algorithm for the BNNs. The algorithm tolerates error inputs whose outputs differ from teacher signals. Performing basic numerical experiments, we investigate relationship between error tolerance range and BNN characteristics including the number of hidden neurons. We then clarify that the error tolerance enables us to construct simple and effective BNNs. |
