The congestion control of conventional TCP leads
many data packets losses, retransmitting of the lost packets and too much reduction of window size.
This is because TCP detects congestion on the basis of loss of data packets and thus can not
recognize a congestion until the network capacity exceeds.
Our proposed congestion control detects the sign of congestion before dropping the packets
by utilizing the degree of preference of the packets and with a small adjustment of the window.
With this method, forwarding efficiency of the packet has been improved. |
