Possibility of a oxygen sensor using piezoelectric effect devices
Toru Ichinohe, Kenji Furihata (Shinshu Univ.)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) There are many kinds of factors for the response of the piezoelectric device in the certain environment. Many factors, including material, mechanical and electrical construction, damping, viscosity, specific gravity, temperature, radiation surface area and vibration modes of the resonator load conditions. These parameter can give each responses with an ideal transducer. In this paper, the properties of four kinds of piezoelectric effect devices were measured by the change in temperature or pressure. From the results, it can be found that there are a resistance type and a capacitance type for the gasses sensing. Consequently, it can be said that AT-cut quartz crystal is good device for the gasses sensing.
