Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This research describes the analysis of emotional impressions based on a view point of Kansei to outer views of the goods and its application to development for goods production. From this point of view, we are especially focusing on the pickles and are going to attempt new product development based on the basic notion that people ultimately evaluate and consume such items, the pickles, on their emotional analysis such as Kansei. First, tastes in products that appeal to consumers shall be investigated by gathering many questionnaire data through the use of a survey. Next, parameters in line with important headings relating to such products will be extracted by analysis of those data. We will then aim to treat these parameters as variables, and analyze the results arising from modified data using a statistical method. On this research, we are going to try for better reactions of the market to products created using a new development method on these results.
