Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Selected-Mapping (SLM) is well known as a distortionless Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR)
reduction method applying to multi-carrier modulation systems.
We propose new mappers (mapping functions) for SLM and evaluate the performance of
PAPR reduction by the mapper.
The new mappers are interleavers which interleave IFFT input sequence.
We consider random, pseudo-random, block interleavers, and shift registers.
Moreover, different interleavers are applied to I- and Q-channel to effectively
reduce the PAPR.
When I- and Q-channel are interleaved by different pseudo-random ones,
the lowest PAPR distribution can be obtained of those except random one.
