Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) An effect on radiated emission due to the mutual position between power-ground planes and a high speed signal wiring on six layers printed circuit board was investigated. Four sample boards were prefabricated and following findings were confirmed by measurement and simulation. The worst case is given by the structure that has a discontinuity of the signal return current path with a via-hole penetrating both power and ground planes. Narrowing space of the planes can be suppressed the emission level even for the structure having a signal wiring between power and ground planes. The radiated emission from the signal wiring itself on top of the both planes can exceed the emission level due to the power-ground plane resonance. Those can be concluded that the structure with the signal wiring within enough narrow space between the planes is more effective to reduce the emission for six layers printed circuit boards.
