We have developed “Childcare Robot PaPeRo” based on our previous prototype robot “Personal Robot PaPeRo”. Childcare Robot PaPeRo is designed to play with and watch over children at nursery, kindergarten, school and home. This paper describes enhanced performances and functions of Childcare Robot PaPeRo and its 6 months long experiment at EXPO 2005 AICHI, JAPAN. |
