Recently, the autonomic operation of information systems is one of the
active research area. The collection and the organization of the operation
knowledge suited to the target information system is necessary for the
construction and the modification of autonomic operation system.
The collection of operation knowledge is important for the effective
autonomic operation since the autonomic operation is based on the collected
operation knowledge.
Additionally, the comprehensibility and the modifiability are required
to the organized operation knowledge since the modification of operation
knowledge is necessary in case of the modification of the target system.
In this paper, the autonomic operation method based on the operation
knowledge encapsulated to the components is proposed. The proposed
method improves the quality of the autonomic operation system since
encapsulation improves the reusability and modularity of the operation
knowledge. |
