A constant giving the maximum linear probability in arithmetic addition

(in English) This paper discusses an algorithm for computing the constant value that gives the maximum linear probability in arithmetic addition modulo 2^n for giving input and output mask values. Park et al. and Moriai et al. gave an efficient algorithm for computing linear probability of addition modulo 2^n. Sumikawa et al. gave an efficient algorithm for computing linear probability. This paper presents an efficient algorithm for computing the constant value sistematically which gives the maximum linear probability by using transition probability matrix related to the input and output masks that Sumikawa et al. have derived.
