(in English) On the basis of extensive investigation into satellite navigation technologies at home and abroad, the technical characteristics, research history and current status of a few of major satellite navigation systems are analyzed in detail in this paper; then the evolution, current research status and existing issues of China's satellite navigation technology are then addressed from the point of view of both technical development and application areas; and finally, the China's satellite navigation technology development strategy is presented in conjunction with the technical bottleneck for satellite navigation industry development in China.
