A Transmission Power Decision Method for A Multi-Hop Wireless Sensor Network with Power Consumption Consideration

(in English) In sensor network, reducing energy consumption is an important challenge. Transmission power control, which varies transmission power suitably at a sensor node, is often focused to not only reduce energy consumption at nodes but also interference for other nodes. On the other hand, transmission power control bring a big impact on networking in multi-hop network. In this paper, we theoretically derive a method for deciding adequate transmission power which minimizes energy consumption in an entire network. We discuss the validity of the method comparing the results by the proposed method with that by computer simulation for EACLE (Energy-Aware CLustering scheme for sEnsor network).
