2D Omni Directional Head and Head-Parts Tracking Technique Using Subspace Method and SVM

(in English) In this paper, we will give an outline about a object tracking technique based on multiple subspace models. Proposed technique realizes object tracking by training the multiple subspace models for each drift patterns and applying the class discrimination to the region candidate. High stability and precision are realized by using multiple subspace models which does not share each feature axis. Through an experiment of face region tracking, we confirmed that the proposed method could realize tracking of 360 directional face in unstable background and lighting condition. We have also implemented a head part tracking technique using position parameter estimation and visibility discrimination based on SVM.
