Optical IPv6

(in English) IPv6 is, except for larger size of its address space, no better than IPv4. Worse, the failed attempts to make IPv6 better than IPv4 made IPv6 more complex and worse than IPv4. As a result, IPv6 is hardly deployed. However, demand to the Internet, with regard to the number of addresses and to back bone speed are increasing rapidly. Optical IPv6 (OIPv6) is proposed by modifying IPv6 specification simpler and more adaptable to optical packet multiplexed network than IPv4.
