Many investigations on the metamaterials are reported.
It is known that the directions of the Poynting vector and the wavenumber vector are opposite in Double Negative Medium (DNM).
Therefore, to visualize the Poynting vector and the wavenumber vector is useful
to recognize the peculiar phenomenon of DNM.
In this paper, we propose a method to obtain the Poynting vector and the wavenumber vector from near-magnetic-field measurement.
The Yee scheme is employed to execute vector product and vector derivative for measured magnetic field.
Experiment shows validity of the proposed method. |
