Modeling and Analysis of Genetic Regulatory Networks with Coupled Maps

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) A novel model using coupled maps for genetic regulatory networks is proposed.
We study the dynamics of Boolean network, differential equations and the proposed coupled maps in detail.
We also show that the state of total genes in large-scale networks can be reduced to a simple recursive equations (1D maps).
Thus, we discuss the problem of what kind of model is adequate for the modeling of genetic regulatory networks.
