This paper studies respose of a vibrate-and-fire neuron to pulse-train input.
This circuit consists of two capacitors, one linear two-port VCCS, one state-controlled switch and one time-contorolled switch.
This circuit outputs a variety of pulse-trains by the two kinds of switchings and can exhibit chaos and a variety of bifurcation phenomena, as parameters vary.
In order to analyze the phenomena systematically, we derive a normal form equation.
Using this equation, we can analyze behavior of state variables, characteristics of inter-pulse-interval and their relationship. |
