In this paper, we consider the hybrid ARQ schemes with the adaptive modulation and the bit-LLR based packet combining through MIMO-OFDM eigen-mode channels for high speed and high throughput transmission. We have proposed the two types of adaptive modulations using 64QAM, 16QAM and QPSK, those are named as Type-A based on the PER characteristics in each eigen-mode channel, and Type B based on the throughput of each eigen-mode channel. The Type-I and Type-II Hybrid ARQ schemes with the LDPC codes having the rates about 0.8 and 0.5 respectively, have also been investigated. |
