An inverse filter that cancels the effects of room transfer function is used for the multichannel sound reproduction system.However, room transfer functions are momentarily fluctuated depending on the environment conditions of the temperature etc. Linear warping process is proposed as the method that compensates temperature fluctuation effect.The method compensates the fluctuation of the sound velocity, which is related to temperature fluctuation, by warping impulse response.However, this method involves large amount of calculations.
In this paper, we propose fast compensation processing of the temperature fluctuation effect.First the proposed method divides the impulse responses in the time interval,and they are warped individually.
Finally, they are joined together.The result of simulations using real environment data reveals the proposed method can reduce the calculation amount about one-twentieth of the conventional without deteriorating the accuracy of compensation. |
