In this paper, the detection scheme of the 4G signal using the
Multiband-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(MB-OFDM) receiver
is studied in order to realize Detect and Avoid(DAA) operation. By
comparing the estimated average power of the 4G signal obtained from the
Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) outputs corresponding to the 4G band with
the background noise averaege power, detection is performed. For the
comparison, it is necessary to determine the appropriate threshold
valued so that the misdetection rate can be made smaller. In order to
perform this, theoretical detection and misdetection probabilities are
obtained and they are used to determine the threshold value for
detection. As the result of analysis, it was confirmed that simple
detection of the 4G signal is possible under specific situations. |
