Small saize underwater speakers for spherical wave radiation

In simulation experiment of sound transmission from intra-body to body surface，it is necessary that the small sized and pulsating source is developed. Two types of the under water sound projector are designed. Selected four inner ear-phone by free impedance are installed in spherical brass ball of 25mm diameter. Another one is made the piezoelectric ceramic of hemispherical shells in outer diameter of 20mm. The sound radiation characteristic and other tests have been performed in water tank. Moreover, the simulation of intracranial sound transmission has been applied. The simulation result has been obtained clearly. |
